The Evening
When you showed up to The Appell Center for this year’s gala, you were greeted by an ivory Bentley.
And when you walked through their doors, you walked into the closest thing to a real-life Gatsby party that I’ve ever been to.
Only it wasn’t Gatsby themed. It was 007 themed, and it brought all the glamour of James Bond to life.
The venue was absolutely stunning, with casino tables, a dance floor, a live band, and giant, hand-crafted poker cards and chips floating from the ceiling.
And it wasn’t just aesthetics that made it worth coming for; the giveaway prizes were insane! From diamond necklaces to international vacations and wine nights at The Handsome Cab 🫢
The team at The Appell Center had been working tirelessly for an entire year to put this unforgettable event into motion, and their attention to detail was mind-blowing. Every nook and cranny of the venue had been transformed to fit the 007 theme, and not even the smallest signs were left untouched.
And the guests themselves were straight out of Hollywood.
Everyone was dressed to the nines, with sophistication and style you’d expect from a Bond movie. It was a fashion-lover’s paradise, with each attendee bringing their own unique interpretation of the theme (some even coming as specific characters).
And let’s not forget the entertainment! The Gala’s energy was palpable, with live music and performers inspired by the films.
Overall, it was a night Fergie would consider “glamorous”.
