Emily & her tiny little rescue pup, Pearl, stopped by the studio for some headshots a few weeks ago.
She shared stories of her travels in the peace corp, her sister’s sense of humor that always brings a smile to her face, and where she wants to go with her life (lots of weaving!).
Emily’s laugh really highlighted her natural beauty in her headshots, and she was such an easy person to talk to. In our conversations I learned that she does a lot of amazing work in different parts of Africa, using her knowledge in public health and her skills as a doula!
And as for Pearl, she was timid and alert the whole session, being careful not to lose sight of her mom, but I was excited that we became friends by the time we wrapped up (she even let me pet her!). It’s the little things, you know?
